Building Usage request – Non-Members

 

Cornerstone Baptist Church views it’s facility as a gift from God.  We believe it is to be a tool used for ministry to reach our community with the gospel and train believers to fulfill the work of the church ministry, However, facility use will not be permitted to persons or groups holding, advancing, or advocating beliefs or advancing, advocating, or engaging in practices that conflict with the church’s Article of Faith.  Nor may facilities be used for activities that contradict or are deemed by the Deacon Board as inconsistent with or contrary to the church’s Article of Faith.  The Deacon Board will interpret the Statement of Faith, and is the final decision maker on whether a person or group will have permission to use church facilities.  The Deacon Board will only review requests when a church representative needs an interpretation of the Article of Faith.  This policy applies to all church facilities, regardless of whether the facilities are connected to the church’s sanctuary, because the church sees all of its property as holy and set apart to worship God.

Believing it is a gift from God, we realize we are stewards of what He has given us. As stewards, we feel that we must maintain a neat and pleasing appearance and take care of the gift God has entrusted to us.

Our goal is to present a clean and orderly appearance of Cornerstone Baptist Church to the glory of God. We appreciate your help in working towards this goal.

As you consider using our facility we require that you abide by the following:

  • Upon contacting the office, complete the Request For Building Use form and turn it into the office as soon as possible but no later than two weeks prior to your event.
  • Within one week of turning in the request, a church representative will contact you regarding the approval or denial of your request. At that time, deposit will be due and final paperwork signed.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Church related activities will be given priority on the church calendar.
  • CANCELLATIONS: In the event of cancellation, it is important to CONTACT THE CHURCH OFFICE as soon as possible (471-1555 from 8:30a.m to 4:00 p.m. weekdays)
