HELPING PEOPLE TO KNOW GOD, GROW TOGETHER, AND SERVE OTHERS

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)

A CASA is one of the most important people in the lives of abused and neglected children. A CASA is a sworn officer of the court given the power to oversee CHINS (Child in need of services) cases in the Indiana court system. A CASA’s job is to monitor the health and wellbeing of the child or children assigned to your case. Visit with the children, the foster parents, the birth parents, the DCS case managers, counselors, teachers, therapist and any others that are involved in the care of the children. We make sure the children are receiving what they need and that the case is moving in a timely manner toward a permanent solution for the children. We are also the voice for the children. We speak for the children when they can not.
